Suggestion

Although I am a temp moderator I want to suggest a method that most forum moderators nowadays use.

Allow users if not just moderators to search for specific words inside posts. This way if a user spots an invalid link he can say "link is not working" or "invalid link" in his post, from then on all the moderator has to do is search for "not working" "invalid" or "found" to find the topics with invalid links.

There are some hosting websites that delete links after a certain period of time (for example sendspace and depositfiles), we should be able to serach for "sendspace" and just check the older topics if links there are still working.

i've noticed that the amount of topics that exists in the forums is very important, so the links to verify and to follow everyday is big.
In order to solve this and to make the members share the work with the mods, why don't add the "Report" button.
so in the future each persons finds a dead link reports it to an admin, this will help the moderators to watch easily their topics. Smile
